Susurros del Corazón

In close partnership with Capitol Peak Partners (CPP), we penned a sun-kissed love story to Mexico’s western coast. Come live the good life in a luxury community as vibrant as the land it sits upon. Welcome to Susurros del Corazón.

Okay, where is this gorgeous place?

Glad you asked. Let me break it down.

Susurros del Corazón is a luxury resort from the Auberge Collection, set near the quaint village of Punta de Mita in the dazzling state of Nayarit, Mexico. I want you to imagine salt air, blue waters, yachts tracing the shore, and humpback whales breaching everywhere you look. Simply put, it’s a nice place to be.

Attached to that resort is a small collection of villas and residences. They are separate from the Auberge resort, but they fly the Auberge flag and enjoy its services (not to mention its stellar reputation).

My team worked with the developer of these residences, CPP. It’s here that our story begins.

A narrative bigger than real estate.

Our team was engaged at an exciting time. CPP was gearing up to reveal a new residential offering at Susurros: The Oceanview Residences, twenty-four homes with just ridiculous bay views. Yet, as we got to know our client, it became clear that they wanted more than poetry about villa design. (Though we did write that, too.)

Workshops revealed a bigger story around the community they were building here — and a decades-long, master-planned vision they were setting into motion. After all, nice houses are a dime a dozen for the rich. But a growing community that makes you feel alive again? That’s what you pay for.

I took this insight (and many others) and crafted a destination narrative that captured the promise of Susurros del Corazón: A place of open arms and panoramic shores. This is luxury you share with friends and family, guided not by rules and etiquette but by fun and a joy for life. A place to taste new flavors, explore new lands, and feel a renewed sense of togetherness.

Peep some excerpts from that story below.

A brand that brings you in.

Once the narrative hit home, we got to making. Working closely with our design team, I helped create a residence brand that pays homage to the Auberge Collection identity, yet distinguishes the Susurros residences units as new, welcoming, and beautiful to behold.

We wanted our brand to feel light and bright, yet substantial. Our homes let the world in, but they also act as an enclave for our owners. We should feel soft and strong, open and secure. Home and away.

A brochure that feels like a dream home.

Our brochure is for our most engaged prospects. It’s an artifact for them to keep, cherish, and gawk at. I love brochures for this reason: they are both critical sales tools and beautiful objects. (And sometimes the latter first.)

We thought hard about what we wanted prospects to feel and think about as they flipped through this one. And because brochures flow like spring water in the luxury world, we knew ours had to have a few flourishes to set it apart from the pack.

Please note that this beauty is actively being printed. Real-world images to come.

Cover: Time and time again, we imagined that view of the Bay of Banderas, spied from your villa window. These are, after all, the Oceanview Residences. It’s only right that the brochure comes with an ocean view of its very own, which we achieve with this keyhole design.

Insert: Little surprises were created to make our brochure feel community-made. This postcard, which is wedged into the pages of each brochure, delivers recommendations from a nameless friend. It’s as if you already have a crew waiting for you.

Copy: I wanted the prose to feel sincere and earnest, but not too illuminated (like an Aman) or formal (like a Four Seasons). Our luxury is barefoot, and we mean that.

A website that finally looks, feels, and sounds like us.

When we kicked off this work, the Susurros Residences website “lacked the romance” of what Susurros was offering the world. That’s their words, not mine.

With our brand narrative as our guide, we created a new website. The result is an elevated, easy-to-explore, and luxuriously written (if I do say so myself) journey into one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

And thanks to the joys of digital, our website allows us to really bring a few bits of our brand to life — notably the handwriting, written in-house by human hands.

Watch me zip through the homepage, or check out the full site here.

More luxuries to come.

This is just the start for Susurros del Corazón. I mentioned a decades-long vision, didn’t I? Stay tuned.
