Experiment: Bad Tools for Reading

A range of experiments created with v0.

Everyone always says reading is an “adult” thing to do. Now, I don’t really agree; what’s more kid-mode than playing pretend?

Nonetheless, these “bad tools” are modifications that could make reading more fun, but likely way less productive. And way less “grown up”.

They are also a way of satisfying my own craving: to thrash writing around when penning even a single additional word seems truly impossible.

AI Notice
AI is a new creative reality. My feelings about it are not meant for here, but I do feel compelled to mention anywhere I use it in what I do. This experiment would not be possible without AI.

v0 is an AI coding platform. I used it to generate the effects you see here. My input was prompting and fine-tuning.

Mary Shelley Notice
The text used in these experiments is from Mary Wollstonecraft (Godwin) Shelley’s Frankenstein. All credit to the original Goth.
